Community Composting
There’s no such thing as food “waste” when you compost!
Food To Power makes it convenient for residents and businesses to keep food, paper and yard “wastes” out of the trash and instead have it turned into compost.
Composting not only prevents disastrous gases from the landfill, it also boosts soil fertility for healthier plants, people and planet.
Our compost collection services include curbside pickups and dropoff locations, to meet the lifestyle and budget of anyone who’s committed to composting! Signup to start diverting your compostable waste today.

Dropoff Program
Drop off your food scraps at the location that’s most convenient for you, and get finished compost back as a reward. This is the most affordable way to compost, with pay-what-you-can membership priced at $12-18/mo.
See the map below for dropoff locations, then click your preferred location to signup.
Curbside Collection
It’s as easy as curbside trash/recycling: You get a bucket for collecting food scraps. Fill it up and set it out for pickup, and Food To Power takes it from there — collecting what’s in your buckets and hauling it to partner sites to become compost.
Members get a share of finished compost in the Spring and Fall to feed the soil wherever you are. That’s your food, full-circle!
