Our work focuses in three areas:
EAT
Food Access
We directly redistribute surplus healthy foods from places like local supermarkets and cafeterias to healthy neighborhood food access programs we co-create with people who live there.
LEARN
Food Education
We foster future leaders in food innovation and promoters of food equity in our community through project-based youth internships and employment, community workshops and events, and online experiences.
GROW
Food Production
We support local food production by redistributing healthy produce from overgrown gardens into our grocery programs, developing an urban farm at the Hillside Hub and providing composting services for residents and businesses to transform food “waste” to fertility in the soil.
