Community Corner is a pop-up educational activity Food to Power offers during some of our Saturday no-cost grocery programs at the Hillside Hub. Examples include a quick fermentation lesson, a new recipe using food from our grocery program, a seed-starting session, or tips for extending the life of your food. These activities include something for participants to take home or taste on the spot: free samples, seeds, and recipes or directions when applicable. Participants who stop by the Corner will be entered into a raffle for a free small kitchen appliance from Food to Power!
Community Corner begins at 11:30 AM. Interested in volunteering with Community Corner? Fill out the form below to get started!
No Cost Grocery is our Hillside Hub onsite food distribution program. Our program is intended for Hillside neighborhood residents, but participants are welcome from anywhere. We only ask our participants to give their household family count information (the number of adults, children, and seniors in the household) and if it is their first time attending.
