Since October, a group of paid youth researchers have been working hard to design a project, gather data, and interpret the results. Our Participatory Action Research Team of Youth (PARTY) wanted to know how families in our community gather the ingredients they need to cook important family dishes, and how cooking and eating those dishes together affects families. Youth interviewed 19 families including over 50 people!
Join us to celebrate their work, hear what they learned, and try some of the recipes. This PARTY Party is free and open to the community. It will include:
Lots of food! Mostly from local vendors, and some of the recipes featured in the project.
Learning! Youth will share their findings and what they learned from this project.
Celebration! We'll thank the participants, and toast to hard work well done.
Recipes! See all of the recipes from the project, and take home a cook book.
Tickets are free. RSVP to help us get an accurate headcount.
Register today to attend another exciting and unique gathering as we celebrate the hard work of our youth and the contributions of 19 families from across the Food to Power community,
